The Benefits of a Synthetic Lawn - Advertising - Broadcast Advertising

Using synthetic lawn is becoming increasingly common around the world. It has all the look and feel of beautiful, well-manicured green natural grass without all the maintenance, repair, and watering. Synthetic grass is made of synthetic fibers, which may include nylon, rubber, and polypropylene. The synthetic grass blades are adhered to a prepared surface and then filled with rubber and sand to provide a soft, comforting base.

Using a synthetic lawn is a huge time saver and can save you money over time. It allows you to have the appearance of a perfectly cut green lawn without the costs and time involved with maintenance, machinery, tools, fertilizer, weed killer, moss killer, other lawn care products, or watering. When you consider all its advantages, it can make a lot of sense and you may never want to go back to natural grass.

Previously artificial turf, which was known as AstroTurf, was not realistic looking enough to replace natural grass. It did not have grass-like blades and was more like having a hard green carpet than grass. However, artificial grass surfaces have come a long way in the past decade with respect to realism, comfort, and safety.

One of the other awesome benefits of having a synthetic lawn is the amount of water you will conserve. This not only helps lower your water bill, it also helps preserve our natural resources. Artificial grass does not need an irrigation device or any watering. They are becoming increasingly popular in dry, drought ravaged cities such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, Tucson, and Phoenix that receive little water and hot sunshine. The southwestern states are just not good climates for natural grass.

A synthetic lawn really makes sense when you live in a hot, dry, climate. However, a home or enterprise anyplace can benefit from having an artificial grass surface. Even in rainy, wet Portland, Oregon, having a synthetic lawn makes a lot of sense. It is a huge timer saver and allows you to concentrate on what enjoy doing, not looking after your lawn.

Also, if your lawn has trees nearby, it may not receive a sufficient amount of sunlight. This type of environment may be breeding ground for moss, which can grow quickly. Your lawn become littered with leaves and needles that block the surface, which can kill parts of your lawn. Synthetic lawns also drain quickly and effectively without puddles allowing you to get out and enjoy your lawn even after rains. And you still save on water costs, as the Pacific Northwest is typically quite dry during the summer months.
